About the Our365 Foundation

At Our365, we work to help families celebrate, share and remember their babies' first moments in the world. Once in a while, through our work with our partner hospitals, we meet parents who, because of medical, financial and other difficulties, are struggling to welcome their infants in the way they would like to. Perhaps, for example, the baby's hospital stay is extended and there are not sufficient funds for the family's daily travel from home, or to pay for the care of an older sibling.

Supported by donations by the Our365 staff and affiliate companies, the Our365 Foundation provides financial gifts to families "in need" who have recently given birth at one of our partner hospitals. Our grants help alleviate the financial strains a new baby can bring and make it easier for all families to celebrate their newborns with a minimum of stress.

A recent recipient of an Our365 grant wrote, "We can’t begin to express what your gift means to our family. The money you donated was most definitely helpful…thanks from the bottom of our hearts!"

Who can apply? The Our365 Foundation is a collaborative effort with our partner hospitals - all partner hospitals are eligible to apply on behalf of a patient: Families are identified by staff members at the hospitals, and the hospitals submit grant applications to benefit families of newborns who require special medical attention. A nurse or social worker typically fills out the form, but any healthcare provider familiar with the baby and family can apply. On average, the Foundation helps a dozen families per month. Our365 Foundation board members review all applications monthly and base the grant awards on the details provided in the applications.

What do Our365 Foundation grants cover? Our grants, which average $350 per family, help parents pay expenses arising from medical complications — very often the extended hospital stay of a newborn. These expenses include:

  • Medical bills
  • Special formula, diapers and other items essential for the baby's well being
  • Hospital travel expenses, including gas
  • Babysitting services for siblings

How do we apply? Applying is easy and can be done online. Apply anytime and as often as the need arises at your hospital. There is no limit to the number of times a hospital can submit a funding request.
